Explorer Room Daily Schedule

 

7:00-9:20 Child Directed Play & Morning Snack

{Note : At Approximately 8:00am the Adventure Room children will move into the Adventure Room}

9:20-9:50 Teacher Directed Activity

9:50-10:00 Clean up

10:00-10:30 Circle

10:30-11:30 Outdoor Play

11:30-12:15 Lunch

12:15-12:30 Story Time, Older Children Transition To The Adventure Room

12:30-2:45 Rest Time

2:45-3:15 Open Snack, Older Children Return To Explorer Room

3:15-3:45 Teacher Directed Activity

3:45-4:30 Child Directed Play

4:30-5:00 Adventure Room Merges Into Explorer Room

5:00-5:30 Late Snack

 

 

 

This Schedules is flexible to meet all of the children's individual needs and developmental abilities. 

Adventure Room Daily Schedule

7:00-9:30

·         Child Directed Play  in the Explorer Room

·         At Approximately 8:00am the Adventure Room children will move into the Adventure Room

·         8:30 snack is offered

·         9:00-9:30 Diapering  / Teacher Directed Activity

9:30-12:30

·         circle

·         outdoor play (weather permitting)

·         lunch time

·         bathrooming / diapering

12:30-4:20

·         Nap time (12:30-2:30)

·         Non-Nappers in both rooms will transition to the Adventure Room. The Explorer Room becomes a nap room. 

·         Table activities / quite free play / bathrooming as needed

·         2:45 children diaper as they wake

·         Snack is offered at 2:50

·         Freeplay

4:20 -5:30

·         Clean up time

·         Adventure Room closes and children transition into the Explorer Room at 4:20

·         Bathrooming / diapering as needed

·         Free Play

·         Outdoor play (weather permitting)
